Turning over the toy box and jamming together the gloriously mismatched musical Lincoln Logs, Legos and Tinker Toys from Tin Pan Alley pluggers, pickled egg tavern weepers, lockstep soul ensembles, skinny-tie power poppers, Eurotrash ravers, moontanned art school rockers, drunken soccer anthems and anything else that seems like a good idea at the time. There are no guilty pleasures.

Wolfgang is levatating mit dem Wings!!
Avatar 1:25pm HyperDose:

@Franco That's what you gotta do, remember the good times. She would always take me to Scotti's so I could get whatever new album came out, only to drive home and be forced to listen to me playing along with it on the drums. She was a saint and the biggest supporter I had.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:25pm Uncle Michael:

Mom talk, sigh, prompted by loss. Again, sorry, Franco. You and I were in similar situations for several months. My mom died last May...almost a year ago...jeez.

My mom also introduced me to Johnny Mathis, but I still like him. One of my early purchases was the Hair soundtrack, which I played on the front room console. The song "Sodomy" is playing and she heads to the front room from the kitchen to ask, "What is that you're listening to?" "It's the Hair soundtrack, Mom." "Oh, huh, okay."

McCartney's got a ~900 page book coming out in November, based around most/all of his songs...
