After an exciting night when my toilet and shower backed up making the worst jumping fountains in the world, I got a new room, but the only one is next to the ice machine (at least the plumbing works and it doesn't smell like cigarettes).

Finally saw a dr, for my condition this morning, but w/ no sleep, I must have looked worse then usual (just woke from a nap)>

I once stayed with my 3 yo son in a motel that advertised that it had water pumped in from a mineral hot spring, the water came out of the faucet black and smelled like sulfur.

In Japan, in Fuji Five Lakes, there's a sulphur hot spring that you hike up the mountain. There is mini ski lift that brings down eggs boiled from the hot springs (the springs are boiling) down to the visitor center. (said sulphur eggs are reputed for their health properties, according to legend)
