Our friend lived on the same street as The Jefferson Airplane mansion - Parsons/Fulton. He had the best place, but sold it because he suspected that someone had chopped up their mother in the basement. The guy was a total psycho. I always had to lower my voice because if I started talking the guy might go nuts and start smashing the ceiling with a broom.

clamato, crushed dried shrimp, lime juice, hot sauce, mezcal, and modela negra or especial. Salt the rim w/ tajin (chile lime salt). now you have a michelada juliana (or cubana), depending on where you are in Mexico.

Okay sorry I get distracted sometimes. The first time I went to San Francisco was the summer of 1966. We were staying by the Presidio which is not to far from Fishermans Warf. One night we went out for a fancy dinner and I ordered a fish platter and a glass of milk. When I took one bite I knew I had made a big mistake. I hated it! Well, long story short, the room started spinning and I dumped the glass of milk onto my plate. Of course eyebrows were raised, and in my own defense I screamed "Every thing went blank!" By this time the other people near by were laughing their heads off. As a result "Did every thing go blank?" was used on me the rest of my life every time I was trying to explain myself out of some kind of trouble - which was once a week it, seemed.
