I only saw the Mott reunion shows from a year or two back which were great nights out indeed and I've seen Ian Hunter a few times (twice dragging Joe Elliott from Def Leppard on stage to help sing ATYD). If only I was 10 years older!!

Frankly, I never got into later Mott the Hoople and Ian's solo career. Absolutely loved the first two MTH albums, especially of course the first, one of the mostest epic of all time. Glam? Eh.

I stopped listening to him around short back and side. Saw him with Ronson (met Ronson). He was at the NYC Winery a few weeks back and did a killer version of The Moon Upstairs from Brain Capers (my first & favorite MTH album, right before Bowie made them Rock Stars). Good to see him still doing it

I've dipped in and out of Ian Hunter's solo work - often getting CDs which have been on sale. Brain Capers is amazing but I like Wildlife too.
