Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:02pm Matt F:

Hiya guys.
Avatar Thu. 9/5/13 2:02pm Doug Schulkind:

Half-assed from Matt is easily four-fifths assed from anybody else.
Avatar Thu. 9/5/13 2:04pm glenn:

decimal equivalents please. i'm in a no fraction zone today.
Avatar Thu. 9/5/13 2:04pm still b/p:

I can't get no....ass-a-fraction...
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:04pm KevinfromBayRidge:

Howdy, Thanks for reminding me that I DON'T have to go to school
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:04pm Uncle Michael:

Hello. I'll be over here setting up my Amway table.
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:05pm Matt F:

In layman's terms I am just using my one giant buttock today.
Avatar Thu. 9/5/13 2:06pm Doug Schulkind:

Here is a visual on Matt's giant buttock: blogfiles.wfmu.org...
Avatar Thu. 9/5/13 2:07pm Mary Kaye:

That's my table, biatch. Move it, or ima run you over with my cadillac.
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:07pm Brian in UK:

Hello Matt F, I am effluent in jibberish.
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:08pm Monica:

now that's what i'm talkin' about (claude mclin)!!!
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:09pm Lewis:

@uncle Michael - Was it you that pushed me to give Neil Diamond one more try? (it was some one in the comments ...)
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:09pm Matt F:

JAMBO!
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:21pm Parq:

This Lobos track is on fire.
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:22pm Matt F:

Yeak, killer geetars on this one.
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:22pm Uncle Michael:

Good Morning Aztlan was a pretty darn good LL album, after I wasn't sure more good ones were coming.
Avatar Thu. 9/5/13 2:22pm glenn:

they've never made a bad record.
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:23pm Uncle Michael:

Yes, Lewsi. That was me. How did that play out?
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:23pm Uncle Michael:

Bad...no, not bad...some aren't as great as others.
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:25pm Uncle Michael:

I listened to Colossal Head a few days ago.
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:28pm Matt F:

I really like Colossal Head. That's the most recent one that still holds up for me start to finish. After that there's tons of individual tracks I dig but a lot that bores me too. What a cool band though.
Avatar Thu. 9/5/13 2:29pm glenn:

i can forgive them. the rolling stones haven't made a good record since some girls. what was that, 1978?
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:29pm Uncle Michael:

Kiko the other day didn't hold up all that well for me. My favorite LL album isn't one. Latin Playboys...that kicks ass.
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:30pm Lewis:

@Uncle Michael - very well indeed! I got an early "best of" and have seen the light. Thanks!
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:30pm Brian in UK:

Will the Wolf Survive still does it for me.
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:31pm Uncle Michael:

The Bang recordings seal the deal Lewis. Once your in, the Uni stuff begins to make more sense.
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:32pm Brian in UK:

@glenn no one here disagreeing on that one. Some might say Aftermath!!!
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:34pm Uncle Michael:

I think albums like Tap Root Manuscript and Stones are great, great albums. Neil can be taken for more than a singles artist.
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:34pm Brian in UK:

Hot August Night anyone?
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:35pm Matt F:

Don't get me started on the fucking Stones. I love them almost as much as I hate them.
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:35pm Uncle Michael:

Brian, I played Brother Love last week or the week before!
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:36pm Uncle Michael:

Me too, Matt. Me too.
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:36pm Lewis:

Singles artist makes sense to me. I have his stuff in a shuffle rotation so I listen as singles and an occasional double play and it that has help me listen better.
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:38pm Uncle Michael:

Wayne Fucking Kramer.
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:38pm Brian in UK:

Solo artistes can hold it together and still be productive but for groups it is much more difficult. We just have to enjoy the Rolling Stones for the first ten years when they were fab misogynists.
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:40pm Uncle Michael:

They certainly wrote a big chunk of the canon between '68 and '72.
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:40pm Uncle Michael:

The Live Ones is great. Never heard of them.
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:41pm Brian in UK:

David Bowie has stage fright. Loved that album.
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:42pm Brian in UK:

Is this with Ken Forsi on bass?
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:43pm Matt F:

UM- Pals/musical compadres operating here in NYC and largely unnoticed but totally slaying live band.
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:46pm Matt F:

B in UK- which track are you referring to?
  Thu. 9/5/13 2:48pm Lore:

Jay Stutes had quite a set of pipes.
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:51pm Matt F:

Hey Lore! Great show with Ted on that fill-in for Destination Out the other day. I urge everyone here to turn this shit off and go listen to the archive of that instead.
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:52pm Uncle Michael:

Already am. I'm just here to bother people.
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 2:58pm Monica:

Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 3:03pm KevinfromBayRidge:

Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 3:07pm Uncle Michael:

Lust For Life is my favorite Iggy album by a mile.
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 3:08pm Stanley:

Iggy Pop is one successful fella, for sure
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 3:08pm Uncle Michael:

Still can't afford a shirt.
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 3:10pm Matt F:

Did you see the video promo for the latest Stooges album on Fat Possum? One of the funniest things I've ever seen...
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 3:12pm Monica:

KevinfromBayRidge, not to worry, will make a soft landing on Roosevelt Island. Forgot about that Iggy song and Green Light!
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 3:14pm Uncle Michael:

I need to see that, Matt.
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 3:16pm Matt F:

Thanks...saving it for desert.
  Thu. 9/5/13 3:37pm drr:

"Young Boy Blues"! A huge favorite. Isn't Ben E. from NYC? I always wondered where he got the thing where he substitutes "ahhh" for "I".
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 3:38pm Uncle Michael:

John Kerry's latest round of Botox has made him look just exactly like Guy Smiley.
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 3:38pm Matt F:

Hey drr! Dunno.
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 3:39pm Uncle Michael:

Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 3:41pm Matt F:

UM, didn't know that it was possible for anyone to look more like Guy Smiley than Mitt Romney already does...
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 3:42pm Uncle Michael:

But it is. amiright?
Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 3:45pm Stanley:

Avatar    Thu. 9/5/13 4:01pm Uncle Michael:
