Morning All! The flood waters almost pulled me under and I arrived at the high groundd of WFMU really late so the order of business now is SONGS THAT ARE 6-7 MINUTES LONG. Unfortunately, I cant think of any. So I was hoping that you could. if the waters had actually gotten a hold of me I'd be looking for 8 Minute Long Songs. But I'm sorta OK. And I cleaned up X-Ray Burns' peanutshells so the Magic Factory wont flood.

Ah, pierre!!!

And what's your take on Melanie Laurent ?! I just discovered her and can't stop looking at her!

P.s. Yes, Rachel Welsh, super hot.

Music is different than Prose - even more than it is from Poetry.

Sylvia Kristel was ok when alive.

I don't really like Melanie Laurent, but I understand you. I mean the fact that I don't like her, is very personal and related to her music, way of playing… but I acknowledge and respect your views.

Don't take the 6, that gets way too crowded. The B,C could be good, or a nice 2 or 3 express train.

There was discussion about Twin Peaks actresses on a playlist recently. I'm in the Donna camp.
Avatar    Wed. 5/8/13 11:40am Caryn:

@pierre: I like Raquel for having a sense of humour and being quite adept at physical comedy.

@rev: history has too many great male and female film stars to ogle to list them all, so I think everyone just focused on the 60s/70s for now for some reason. I might add Anna Karina and Julie Christie to the list.

If you get arrested, record the whole thing and play it back for us on 7SD.

Don't try the 4 or 5 trains, they're always too crowded. I'd also avoid the A and C which often seem incredibly skeezy to me.

fair point, re: 60s/70s film-stars ... the aforementioned Caroline Munro did add a certain healthy zest for life when I saw Golden Voyage of Sinbad in the theater (age 6)...

@fofo: I think I will still have a problem with her. But if she sung like Fontaine, that would mean she don't give a crap sounding weird, and add a touch of humor in it, and as I say, this is the thing that I find the sexiest in people. Humor.

The spinning swings at my old local amusement park are nicely positioned at the edge of a cliff, which adds an extra thrill to the ride.
