Opera still gives me the creeps...except when Esquerita sings it !
  Sat. 11/5/11 1:13pm Jim B:

Wow, was preoccupied while listening to Esquerita and actually forgot that the Hound has been off the air for years. That song seems so natural for early Saturday afternoon.
Sat. 11/5/11 1:14pm Mark in DC:

Ah, more Esquerita. Make us aware!
  Sat. 11/5/11 1:19pm Hasil Hunchbone:

I hope Rex can someday find an excuse to interview Harlan Ellison
  Sat. 11/5/11 1:26pm Hasil Hunchbone:

  Sat. 11/5/11 1:27pm Parq:

I know that "Drop out of grammar school" drop-in. That was from the Munsters, an episode where Grandpa turns Eddie into a trumpet virtuouso, only it also turns him into a stone be-bopper. Grooo-vy.
Sat. 11/5/11 1:33pm tim from champaign:

So I'm working at a record store in Champaign IL at the moment. The local Moondog-esque character was in the store when Hasil Adkins was played. I was really hoping the Hasil would cause Moondog to do some sublime boogying but unfortunately it did not happen.
Sat. 11/5/11 1:42pm tony in durham nc:

Heck yeah it's true!
Sat. 11/5/11 1:54pm Greg from Bloomfield:

Killer show last week, Rex. It kept me sane as I spent 5 hours driving around in the snow...
