Fuzzy guitars, sing-able pop anthems, punk of all subtypes, little bits of soul, country both funny and sad, and brawl-worthy pub rock. More. Prepared with love.

only got 45 min to follow along w. the show today, but happy to be here and to grab the archive later on!
  Wed. 6/15/11 12:06pm Drummer Some:

If I can speak for Amanda (who is still traipsing across the Russian countryside but left this pre-recorded show to run in her absence for your auditory enlightenment) I am deeply honored to have your divided attentions for even a short time. I am not worthy (Amanda speaking, of course).
  Wed. 6/15/11 12:10pm Mike East:

Billy Bragg on the top of the playlist sold me. Glad to be here.
Wed. 6/15/11 12:11pm listener james from westwood:

I read a book this winter about the Russian countryside; the author drove back and forth twice across Siberia. Long crazy trip, but met lots of regular folks making their way in the only terrain they'd ever known. And breathtaking terrain in many spots.
  Wed. 6/15/11 12:14pm Danne D:

Yay For Amanda giving us pre-recorded goodies :)
  Wed. 6/15/11 12:15pm Danne D:

Supergrass would go great after this song :)

  Wed. 6/15/11 12:26pm Drummer Some:

OK, so Amanda is traipsing on the plane back from the Russian countryside.

I'm prerecorded, but they only hand me one page of the script at a time.
Wed. 6/15/11 12:30pm Brian in UK:

Wed. 6/15/11 12:38pm Brian in UK:

Is this Gate related to the other?
  Wed. 6/15/11 12:39pm Drummer Some:

From Amanda's playlist, it looks like she'll be warbling along with Warren Zevon. Everyone gargle with warm water and lemon and get ready to join in.
Wed. 6/15/11 12:41pm Brian in UK:

I thought it was 20 fags (cigarettes) & JD did the trick.
  Wed. 6/15/11 12:43pm Skirkie:

Zevon? Can't wait to hear this. He's the only artist I've ever sang a karaoke song of.
  Wed. 6/15/11 12:45pm Drummer Some:

Step up the mic, Skirkie. We are with you in spirit.
Wed. 6/15/11 12:53pm Brian in UK:

Apologies Amanda for cross writing but we have not been to St Petersberg. Nyah.
