Wow. I saw Malcom several times. Most memorable: A hundred years ago I saw that the woman Malcolm was dating at the time was playing the Borders in Knoxville on a Tuesday night. I told the woman I was dating at the time I had a hunch Malcom would be there and we should go. Sure enough, when we got there Malcolm was standing outside smoking. Before her last song, Valerie said she was going to do one more and then turn it over to "this guy" and pointed to Malcolm. Malcom proceeded to play for an hour and 20 minutes to us and another couple. Just incredible. A Hundred Lies is a true classic, and all of Malcolm's records are great. I think of Malcom as a bad boy who was a kind man. Rest in peace.

Oh yes! It's only 10:30 pm in the UK! I'm easily confused with 'Daylight' times if and when it arrives! UK is at month's end 31 March. I am enjoying the extra hour of light, as it seems to slow down many beautiful sunsets.. as opposed to fall/winter when it feels like the sun sets in a blink! Congrats on making the goal Brian!! Think I did that last year for "Someday Matinee". Feels so great to make it for the entire WFMU community!!
