Chili - There’s an article in today’s NYT about crime in Oakland. The crux of the article is that Oakland has similar crime rates as SF, but not as much media attention is given to Oakland crime.

It's ok, I retired after that. The anxiety was much later, after I had an injury. Over 18 months my bones were disintegrating and 8 physicians could not help me. I had to stumble on the answer myself, which was cortisol preventing the absorption of calcium.
