I believe I saw this one, too. I watched SNL very faithfully every Saturday night as a tween. Always cool whenever a well-known artist from the underground scene, or up-and-coming artists, shows up to perform.

I'll never forget watching the news coverage of this. It was exciting hearing Zappa address the PMRC in his own intelligent and dignified manner. Made for engaging viewing! (I might just watch this tonight on YouTube!)

will never forget when this Valley dude heard this for the first time - was listing to Rodney Bingenheimer, and me and my Val friends just stared in slack-jawed amazement at the radio.

The phones at KROQ rang off the hook, so Rodney actually played the song AGAIN later in the show.
