The Police Picnic was a legendary festival type bill around Toronto that featured some Ranking Full Stop faves. 1981 The Payola$, Nash the Slash, Oingo Boingo, Killing Joke, Iggy Pop, The Specials, and The Go-Gos, and The Police. 1982 The Police, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, the (English) Beat, A Flock of Seagulls, and Spoons. 1983 featured Peter Tosh among others. I was not quite old enough to take advantage myself.
