As a teen, the University of.Toronto had a radio station. "Thor and his leather shorts" played some real great underground punk.
A bunch of us would call him with us all using 3way calling. He would let us on the air just to be angry kids. It was a blast.

I remember a show called "Middle East Melodies" which was during the time that i discovered dark opera. I found the singing to be highly emotional. This was before I discovered the fake-ethnic music of Dead Can Dance, ha ha.
