I think I have shared this before, but that comp has one of my fave Discogs comments, on the "Neon Blotter Swirl" version: "Not sure where they get off calling this a swirl color vinyl. It is ultra clear disks with yellow, green, and orange neon splatters. My disk 2 is almost completely clear with a few specs of neon here and there. I feel this was falsely advertised. It's still a great compilation, but calling it "neon blotter SWIRL" is pretty far from what I actually received. Oh well, hopefully this comment will save others from some disappointment."

It wasn't great (though Don Braden is a regular every summer, like catching his set). It also wasn't all that popular-at least judging by what happened, as it was changed from a jazz festival to (Tuesday nights, outdoor, 7-9 pm multiple corners of town), to a general music festiival. Most of the artists are so-so (was also true of the jazz festival), but it's fun to walk around, and I live there, no commute.

When I lived in the Big City, I discovered that if people play live music outside for free, many people will sit down and listen to it, when they wouldn't go to a concert or even turn on a radio with that music.
