Austin is actually Mission Control running this show, cuz I'm at the office having a real "Houston we have a problem' tech issue.

But will endeavor to keep up the playlist. hey, if Apollo 13 can do, maybe I can make it, too?

PK, Kat, Don-O! I do believe we've got some fun times ahead.

The coolest crew ever to visit the Moon was Apollo 12. Pete Conrad and Alan Bean. And their chum Dick Gordon in the Command Module.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:05pm

Their Saturn was struck twice by lightning during ascent. All of the meters on the control panel went berserk.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:06pm

Alan Bean knew what it meant when Houston radioed "try SCE to AUX".

He flipped a switch and everything was back to normal. And they giggled allt he way to the moon.

But John Fogerty once got sued for "ripping off" a Creedence song..

Lucky Cheng's was a restaurant on Avenue A with drag queen/transwomen servers. I played music inbetween and after their sets when they performed. '97 - '98 I think. But a new manager decided to get rid of the couple of us on staff that weren't DQ/trans and I had to drag my records home on the F train, it was sad

Yeah not all of the ladies were actually good at their jobs. I guess they moved the restaurant at some point after I returned to Chicago, then there was one in Vegas, but I think it's all kaput now. I believe the (genetic) woman who founded it died of breast cancer. I didn't really keep in touch with anyone there for long.
