↳ Song: "Maybe baby" by "Father's Brown"
spot-on bubblegum sound! What's Dutch bubble-gum pop called? "Stroopwafel pop"?

Mr Fab:

↳ Song: "Sunday Morning" by "The Riats"
a Velvet Underground cover as early as '67?! And from a country the VU never toured? Amazing!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:28pm
Jan Turkenburg:

Did the Velvet Underground use tuned cow bells?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:30pm
Jan Turkenburg:

They spoil the music completely I can't unhear them...
Avatar 1:30pm
Mr Fab:

They were pretty innovative, but not even they used the Spike Jones cowbell technique!

Honestly, i can't think of any Velvets covers until Mott The Hoople did "Sweet Jane" in the early '70s. Well done, Riats.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:23pm
Jan Turkenburg:

The Blue Diamonds started of as a Dutch Everly Brothers cover duo, but they got into some trouble with the Everly's , because the BD versions became hits before the originals were even released here or something. That made them write their own material.
