	♥ 9:23am WR: I attended a zoom meeting last night with a Camaroon traditional healer who is looking for funding to properly record healing and other traditional songs. He presented several sample recordings he had made with his phone. He said that the funding is not just to hire an engineer with proper equipment, it is also to compensate the singers and drummers. I will be sharing more information as it is available, assuming interest and support develops.

Also Joel Dorn is the father of Adam Dorn, who, performing as Mocean Worker, provided the piece I used as a talkover track immediately preceding this set.

I think these voices came straight from the Black vocal tradition, rather than previous jazz examples. I apologize for the incorrect idea, but in my defense, it is only my third today. So far.

He presented several sample recordings he had made with his phone. He said that the funding is not just to hire an engineer with proper equipment, it is also to compensate the singers and drummers.
