I had an old hippie neighbor who saw FLoyd after "Meddle" came out, and during the organ stings on this song, lasers would shoot up. He said it just blew everyone away - seems like such a cliche now, but it was the first time anyone had seen lasers.

I was at a show by Garbage in I think it was 2000 or thereabout. They were playing a -for them - small venue of 1500 and Shirley told the audience they really enjoyed that. During "Only Happy When It Rains" they had new 'cannons' with silvery garland-y stuff going off which apparently also were new for the band. Even Shirley was surprised by it. "Pour your misery - whoa! pour your misery down on me"...
