If you're sitting on the right side of the train, you'll see the rest of the train out the window. The curve at Altoona is an engineering marvel. The train track traverses a steep section in a relative short distance. Often the conductor will narrate the story of the construction of the curve as the train passes through (though that might only be in the East>West direction. Listen for it on your return trip.

If you're sitting on the right side of the train, you'll see the rest of the train out the window. The curve at Altoona is an engineering marvel. The train track traverses a steep section in a relative short distance. Often the conductor will narrate the story of the construction of the curve as the train passes through (though that might only be in the East>West direction. Listen for it on your return trip.
