When black folks saved the white folks, it is affectionately known as the black person being the, "Magic Negroe." It was a phrase I only heard when I first saw the review for The Legend of Bagger Vance. It's even a term used for the movie with Queen Latifah and Steve Martin's movie, "Bringing Down the House."

I've always wanted to really go nuts with the concept with Queen Latifah playing a blaxploitation version of Mary Poppins, and call it "Ms. MARry!" And pronounce it like Jackee Harry used to call Marla Gibbs' character on 227 with the same sing song way.
