I shall repeat my story of one afternoon on Kensington High Street a couple of years ago. I was rushing to get to the Tube and was suddenyl aware of an elderly woman BARRELLING towards me. I swerved just in time or I would have collided with her and knocked her into traffic.

And narrowly avoided the demise of Emma Peel for it was the lovely Dame Diana Rigg!!

I have a weird question and this maybe the wrong place to ask. If listeners outside of the US ordered physical swag llike t-shirt, sticker etc. during the Marathon, did they have to pay extra for shipping?

I bought a DJ premium in the form of digital download instead of CD because I was afraid the shipping would be quite expensive (either way, for me or for WFMU).

Georges Simenon's Maigret is good. His Roman Durs (Hard novels) are excellent too. What I like is that most are around 130-160 pages long, you have to pay attention when reading. Great writer.
