Favoriting Cratedigger's Lung with Rich In Washington: Playlist from December 23, 2022 Favoriting

Rich in Washington's avatar View Rich in Washington's profile Favoriting

A three-hour exploration of excavations from the farthest reaches of humanity's hellish collective brain, through records, tapes, CDs, mostly scoured from country bumpkin thrift stores, creepy charity shops, backwoods junk stores, and even the internet - all mixed live. We don't judge, we just play 'em. Hosted by Rich in Washington.

So I watched that Borbetomagus doc. Pretty brief at just over an over, and relies a lot on stills (though there is some awesome footage), kind of broad strokes on bio, but inspiring, actually.

Also watched Meet Me In The Bathroom on Showtime, which is about late 90s/00s Brooklyn rock, which is a depressing at the Borbetomagus one is uplifting.

Main thing is that I have two laptops that I download to and I need to move the files to the NAS which has redundant hard drives and is also backed up. The sort is alpha by artist. Exception is some experimental or historical reissue music labels on Bandcamp which I bought the whole discography for spiffy discount price and I only know a few of the artists. Those I group by the label.

hola great show, been wondering for too long: the streams that are not WFMU St/Mono, like this are they streamed live from FMU studios or are they prerecorded uploaded and then with the DJ live on the comments? I think almost all shows on all streams are live. Either live from WFMU studios or DJ's houses, but some people prerecord shows and play them 'live' so to speak,
