@Aitch -- yeah, medson was doped to the gills. As his manager, I felt very guilty about it. But, I was looking for a massive payday with all the money we had tied up with the bookies. It paid out, we donated it to WFMU, then medson was disqualified after the arrest, actually.

This song always reminds me of one of my rock n roll stories. One night when I lived in Long Beach, CA (when I still drank), after Black Halos played Alex's Bar, the band and a bunch of people came to my apartment afterwards to party. We were playing this song and everyone was singing it at the top of their lungs! Such a blast. The cops were called and party wás broken up, but we had a lot of fun four a couple of hours singing to The Dolls before the cops came!
