She looked ravishing, I looked like myself. She kept making thinly veiled remarks about me been old as her dad. After it became apparent I wasn't going to get her a job, she curtly excused herself and I've never seen her since.

	🥁 ♥ 5:00pm prguitar: I won't even go there in real time N.. In 1990 I was living in the SF Bay Area.. I went to many shows during the barely two years I was there.. Think it was a Buffalo Tom show at UC Berkeley.. was having a conversation with a kid next to me.. we both had extremely long hair.. All I remember from that conversation was the guy saying "so, you've had long hair twice then.?!" Nothing I could say but 'ya that would be true.. When I worked at Rudy's Music making guitars, Rudy warned me when he was upset one day about feeling old..." I hate it! The customers come in, and now they call me sir! Oh, I hear you all... HyperDose, doctorjazz, listener James, fred, Franco Twinkie, chresti, and WR.. My guitarist friend Pat Place, one of the founders of the Bush Tetras was interviewed recently by someone quite young who was having trouble following her musical history.. after too many questions, Pat simply said, "yeah, I'm pretty old now!" The interviewer was really confused at that point! Hey there Doug!!

He remained in the Air Force Reserve, and retired with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.. For many years my family traveled with him during his two week vacation, staying in Air Force base towns.. when he was on active duty.. Needless to say, and to put it mildly, we didn't agree when it came to the military draft, especially when it was obvious the USA wasn't going to succeed in Vietnam.. Once all the classified information was released a number of years ago, Dad became very left wing.. he wasn't aware of any of the nightmares the military kept under wraps for so many years.. In this life, certain things don't seem to change at all.

I remember exercising with him every morning when they'd visit. Not long after, the Alzheimer's took over. My family chose not to tell him, which even at that age, I knew was wrong. He was a very formidable man.

She looked ravishing, I looked like myself. She kept making thinly veiled remarks about me been old as her dad. After it became apparent I wasn't going to get her a job, she curtly excused herself and I've never seen her since.

Think it was a Buffalo Tom show at UC Berkeley.. was having a conversation with a kid next to me.. we both had extremely long hair.. All I remember from that conversation was the guy saying "so, you've had long hair twice then.?!" Nothing I could say but 'ya that would be true.. When I worked at Rudy's Music making guitars, Rudy warned me when he was upset one day about feeling old..." I hate it! The customers come in, and now they call me sir! Oh, I hear you all... HyperDose, doctorjazz, listener James, fred, Franco Twinkie, chresti, and WR.. My guitarist friend Pat Place, one of the founders of the Bush Tetras was interviewed recently by someone quite young who was having trouble following her musical history.. after too many questions, Pat simply said, "yeah, I'm pretty old now!" The interviewer was really confused at that point! Hey there Doug!!

He remained in the Air Force Reserve, and retired with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.. For many years my family traveled with him during his two week vacation, staying in Air Force base towns.. when he was on active duty.. Needless to say, and to put it mildly, we didn't agree when it came to the military draft, especially when it was obvious the USA wasn't going to succeed in Vietnam.. Once all the classified information was released a number of years ago, Dad became very left wing.. he wasn't aware of any of the nightmares the military kept under wraps for so many years.. In this life, certain things don't seem to change at all.
