We may go out to look for fireworks, but we live a block away rom the river, which opens up on the ocean, and we can see fireworks from three or four towns from the hill at the end of the street. Far off, but still fun

We're located equidistant between a minor league ballpark and the boardwalk, so we can hear fireworks all the time. Seeing them is something else entirely.

One of the coolest Fourth of Julys I experienced was from a friend's father's sailboat in the Raritan Bay. We saw fireworks all the way up the Jersey bayshore, Staten Island, NYC and Long Island
