I am letting go. They will reimburse what they think is fair. I will not judge them for it. I do not need to be friendly with them going forward. Repeat until I feel it.

Their lives are mapped on their faces. These men are smart, strong, brave, compassionate. They have faced the realities of race, class and justice (or lack thereof) in ways many of us cannot begin to comprehend.

Director Mike Mills is so sensitive to nuance. Yet i have a theory that he has been significantly encouraged by his brilliant partner Miranda July (see her entire unusual creative career!) =Her films (& performances & talks) are unique and imo very worthy of ones time. Mills' follow-up "C'mon C'mon" is also very worthy. Yet, don't sleep on Miranda July!(haha). Their lives are mapped on their faces. These men are smart, strong, brave, compassionate. They have faced the realities of race, class and justice (or lack thereof) in ways many of us cannot begin to comprehend.

Director Mike Mills is so sensitive to nuance. Yet i have a theory that he has been significantly encouraged by his brilliant partner Miranda July (see her entire unusual creative career!) =Her films (& performances & talks) are unique and imo very worthy of ones time. Mills' follow-up "C'mon C'mon" is also very worthy. Yet, don't sleep on Miranda July!(haha). Ps: Annette Bening echoed the vibes i grew up with via my mother's pov thru the late 60's/70's.(energized,exciting & bewildering times).
