@ MB - A friend paid for the "backstage VIP" package and got to meet them. The last time I met DEVO was in 1985 or so when they were signing at Tower records.

I met Devo with they were outside some record store. I had Mark sign one of his Music For Insomniacs CDs. Still haven't seen them perform though...(sniff)

Well, speaking of Devo, they set one of John Hinkley's poems to music "I Desire," from "oh No it's Devo." album.

The Spike Lee film "Summer of Sam" has the dog actually talking to Berkowitz (thru animation or CGI or sumthin). It's really funny.

I got to meet Devo at a Tower Records signing. Their drummer (post-Alan) fell off his stool while signing. Mark signed my ticket stub of my first ever Devo show. They seemed nice, even though it was a signing event in a Tower Records.

I was excited to find a biker movie soundtrack the other day (The Hard Ride) and doubly excited to see that it was by Harley Hatcher, who had some cool early 60s singles but it's the goddamned tamest soundtrack I've ever heard.
