Flash Strap's avatar View Flash Strap's profile Favoriting

This is where all of culture and all of time are collapsed into one seductive portal and viewed through the panoramic lens of the exotic. Come and embark on an armchair-travel virtual-voyage to the heart of timeless darkness and beyond; embrace the numinous monolith of the exotic immensity. Let us find that place where hybridization meets its destiny as pure fantasy. Let us become observers observing those others who are ourselves. You wear your mask and I'll wear mine.

Stronger than silent 'E' (removing the "e" at the end of "tube")
Able to leap capital 'T' in a single bound! (A sign for Tessie's Diner resembling the "T")

Avatar 8:50pm
spodiodi:

i learned two ways to write a capital cursive "Q", and every time i have to pause and decide which i'll use (good thing i mostly gave up on writing cursive) -- related, i read the idea that kids no longer learn cursive penmanship
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:50pm
Phillippe Bastille:

Any letter you write with a flourish is totally unnecessary unless you write it with a quill pen. (and yes, QU ,makes the same sound as KW -- yet more evidence the K is not needed.)
Avatar 8:51pm

the cooler way looks kinda like a "2"

i've never written in cursive since high school and i plan to never! what an unnecessary mess that is!

chresti:

Quinn, I was so happy once I realized that I didn't have to make my signature legible.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:55pm

  8:56pm

yeah, chresti, my friend's mom taught me that. what a waste of worrying that was
  8:56pm
passiflora:

I do the 2
Avatar 8:57pm

after that, i decided one say i'd work on y signature to make it look like *something*, so the first letter of each name is made to look "cool" and stand out.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:57pm
coelacanth∅:

i changed my signature when i realised it didn't have to be in cursive, and could be a shortened version of my name, and not be legible.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:57pm
