I don't think there are any WFMU rules about not playing anything Julie. If it feels right to you then it should be in your show.
Avatar 🦇 10:10pm

oh I know. I just picked Bowie as an opener because he has so many records and here I am sticking with that one!

yes, two channels here of course but everything coming from the center, no separation. I just checked again other streams and they did not play like this. Is it me or my computer.. scary. Speaking of music instead of technology, all the tunes have been super good so far.

Buddy of mine has a preserved brain in a jar.

Had a mind to contact the jerk-offs at the Mayor Pete campaign this evening, just to express my opinion that he's such a pathetic little dweeb. The website asks for location and contact info, which I won't provide, so I made a simple hack: I added /index.htm to the base URL. Worked. Good lord. This guy thinks he can run a country when he can't even run a website.

did it get better? I tweaked the balance a tad

I got one more thing I can try but I'll wait till the next set because it involves yanking the wires out again

I had to look up Abby Normal, even though Young Frankenstein is one of the handful of movies I can stomach!
Avatar 🦇 10:43pm

Wow surprised, even I know that one

I *really* don't like movies. And I'm aging. Memory is declining.

But goddamn I love Laura Nyro, and I was just thinking of her today.

he is listed as co-producer
  10:48pm

Also love old Genesis.

I noticed no difference in sound (in terms of any stereo separation), but hey, I just beautiful Laura Nyro sing. AND I REALLY SHOULD GET THIS GENESIS ALBUM.

"Happy the Man" and "Twilight Alehouse": lovely songs

yeah the show gave way to Doug's stream for just a moment
  10:54pm

I see you've spun Nektar in years past. Would love to hear them again. Also, do you know The Neutrons, a band that stemmed from Man? Impressive pop prog.

you've probably checked this but sometimes if a stereo jack (if you're using a stereo jack at any point in the set-up, i don't know) is not fully in it will deliver 1 channel equally to both channels.

Julie, At that point Donovan was spitting fire. Maybe that dressing down by Dylan did knock the wind out of him.
