	10:41am Doug Schulkind: I first heard that Louis Armstrong cover on the radio in around 1980 and began searching for it. When I moved to NYC in’83, I would go into record stores and ask the clerks in the jazz section about it and most had never heard of it. I will never forget the employee at J&R Music World who literally laughed at me thinking I had made it up.

	🦀 ♥ 11:51am hyde: @JG an md5 signature is basically just a hash value that acts as a fingerprint for a file. there are assorted programs that can generate them, or there's online places that can also do it. you create a hash for the file, and then check the signature on the file after transfer. if they don't match, something went wrong...

	10:41am Doug Schulkind: I first heard that Louis Armstrong cover on the radio in around 1980 and began searching for it. When I moved to NYC in’83, I would go into record stores and ask the clerks in the jazz section about it and most had never heard of it. I will never forget the employee at J&R Music World who literally laughed at me thinking I had made it up.

	🦀 ♥ 11:51am hyde: @JG an md5 signature is basically just a hash value that acts as a fingerprint for a file. there are assorted programs that can generate them, or there's online places that can also do it. you create a hash for the file, and then check the signature on the file after transfer. if they don't match, something went wrong...
