A friend of mine is a pilot, and he says it makes no sense., e.g. they have to hand over their pocket knives, but there's a fire ax in the cockpit. Stuff like that.

Oh man! I haven't taken much of a survey of modern patriotic music since GW's second term. I can't even imagine what some pro-trump songs are like now.
Avatar 7:55pm
spacebrother:

Gotta do a show of those! Rich?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:56pm
Rich in Washington:

I figure that music like that are like cheese - they have to have aged sufficiently before they're ironically funny. Weird thought that I'd somewhat yearn for the more innocent days of the simple tea party.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:57pm
Rich in Washington:

If I ever have shows that coincide with the 4th, I usually do my huge patriotic music blowout. I think the last one I did was as a guest of Martinibomb on his KFFP show last year.
Avatar 7:57pm
Mr Fab:

Well, Moe Tucker was a Tea Party supporter...
Avatar 7:57pm
spacebrother:

Depending on the lyrics, I think hey shouldn't need much aging at all.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:58pm
Rich in Washington:

That's true! Wonder if she's currently a trump supporter? Seemed like her arguments then weren't as nutty as people had her down for. I think her political compass was sort of broke to the point where it went all over the place.
Sorta like Exene of X.
Avatar 7:59pm
