This is where all of culture and all of time are collapsed into one seductive portal and viewed through the panoramic lens of the exotic. Come and embark on an armchair-travel virtual-voyage to the heart of timeless darkness and beyond; embrace the numinous monolith of the exotic immensity. Let us find that place where hybridization meets its destiny as pure fantasy. Let us become observers observing those others who are ourselves. You wear your mask and I'll wear mine.

Hi Quinn! wonderful, splendid to see you

happy new year!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:13pm
coelacanth∅:

oh man. Good Luck Doug.
i know for myself if getting food in or keeping it there is an issue it's either miso soup; warm ginger/licorice tea with honey; or lemon-ginger-echinacea juice that breaks it...in all cases taken in minute sips at first with breaks in between.
Avatar 8:14pm
Flash Strap:

@doug: i got food poisoning right before leaving for France, and spent the first few days of the tour just eating bananas and trying not to look too insane
Avatar 8:14pm

i think i've had food poisoning once, full on, when i was about 20, and once very mildly. i've had a hangover probably 10 X that kept me from consuming anything for a day. i don't think i've ever had a "stomach bug".
