Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:13am northguineahills:

I think I mentioned it before, the dowtown plaza where concerts take place, protest happen, and people do yoga, tai-chi, farmer's markets occur, and children's activities, was named after Bo Diddley after he died.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:21am Carmichael:

Heya Kurt and really small minotaurs.
Avatar 11:22am V Priceless:

@KG: heard a Billie Davis tune on 'Surface Noise' the other day, 'Nobody's Home To Go Home To" (circa '69?); chorus melody beings to mind DB's 'Where Are We Now' chorus - wouldn't be surprised if it was on Bowie's radar. Worth a comparison listen.
Avatar 11:27am V Priceless:

(also @ KG: Dave Gregory's 65th BD today)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:32am Doug Schulkind:

1950-'60s country artist Jimmy Murphy does a great tune called Electricity.
