Two hours of rollicking delite: '60s jams, cartooniness, seriousness, sing-alongs, and Simpsons talk. P.dece.

It's there (on the homepage).
Speaking of technology museum displays, I have to focus on how to get my copier/scanner to fax. Some people still actually demand faxes only! Welcome to 1992!
If you get on the Drummer Some / Motherlode mailing list, you will get an automagic email before every show with links to the stream and playlist. If you'd like to join up, send a request to drummer (at) wfmu {dot} org
Just one more week until Boxing Day!

Love Cotton Mather! Like a mix between Big Star and John Lennon.
From "Raging Bull", I love the Intermezzo from "Cavalleria Rusticana". It's from an 1890 opera, but it fits the film perfectly. I suppose that would make it more of a cinema piece than a boxing piece.
And since you're heading out now, have a happy and safe holiday Amanda! Boxing Day too!
I'll see YOU - next year!
Collies are brilliant, though washing them would probably require a lot of effort to clean their coat and brush it after.
So, as to your holiday plans?...I'm going for a few days to my Mom's family in Pennsylvania, as per usual.
If the Wifi signal goes away, FOLLOW IT in the car!
Was just about to Google "suddenly winter" because I liked that. I guess that was the 60s Tremeloes then.
Amanda emailed me her track list. I am sitting here in my little red hatchback typing as fast as I can.
I keep forgeting who does the Grinch song, but Mr. Ravenscroft is an unsung trooper of the voice actor world. Active from 1940 to his death in 2005, he was the original Tony the Tiger, "No Dogs Allowed" in the Peanuts animated motion picture Snoopy, Come Home (I remember that one!), the bass vocal in Rosemary Clooney's "This Old House", and many many others.
And hey Doug, thanks for even knowing the name Thurl Ravenscroft. Whoa, Wikipedia tells me he was Tony the Tiger. He narrated my hometown's Pageant of the Masters, which is a whole other thing you can look up in Wikipedia.
Joe McG does great premiums, have to see if that one is still in the Prize Warehouse.
@Jessi: Things are syncing up beautifully today! :)
@Matt...hello!
WFMU: AIM LO!
Speaking for Amanda and all of us here at GTDR HQ, have a spectacularly calm holiday!
Thanks for updating the playlist too!
