i love this song! and have been *obsessed* too, ever since i first heard it -- early/mid-2000s, i think at a hafla?

used to practice dance with my little cat Lefty to this song -- sometimes she seemed to enjoy it? other times she was like, "ok, I will put up with this goofy human" haha!

and omg is that Boney M. in the collage?!?

ok gotta get back to fixing food -- hardly a hafla, but so happy and grateful to be home, and listening live with you all :)

admittedly late to the party with Boney M., the first time i heard them was on Scott Muni's "Things from England" show, Friday afternoons on WNEW-FM -- their version of "Rivers of Babylon" was #1 for many weeks in 1978

DJ Stashu did an incredible version of "Rasputin" for the WFMU marathon finale some years ago

and, i would love to see SM Ken do this for the finale -- with the same costuming, choreography, etc. :
