It seems that this IS the same Dick Hyman who was a jazz pianist. Excellent musician, who did a lot of modern performances of older music, such as a solo performance of The Music of 1937 en.wikipedia.org... Why he got involved in the Electric Eclectics, I don't know. It seems like an outlier in his discography.
