	8:28pm Dean: Depends on what we mean by "famous," I guess, but I brazenly approached Myra Melford and Marty Ehrlich at Vision Festival many years ago to tell them how much I admire their work. Once when I was working in downtown LA, '80s, I saw Nicky Beat (Germs, Weirdos) working out of a flower delivery van. I couldn't not say hello.
	🎭 ♥ 8:33pm doctorjazz: I used to take my older daughter to jazz clubs when she was young, (pre-teen, early teens), and she always insisted on going up after a set and telling the musicians that she loved their set. They were generally very gracious (one gave her a pep talk, told her that she should persue her dreams, musical or other performance, no matter what her dad thought, which was interesting, since he didn't know me, and she's curretly an actress/comedian).

	♥ 8:37pm Bronwyn Bishop: I've met Al Jardine a couple times (most Beach Boys fanatics have, he's the easiest one to meet lol), Peter Yarrow (I feel weird about that one...), Steven Page from the Barenaked Ladies, while stagedooring at Broadway shows (which I only ever did as a teen) I met Andrew Rannells, Josh Gad, Zachary Levi, Krista Rodriguez, Billy Porter, Stark Sands...Ira and Andy at WFMU are famous...I think that's it? My parents met a way more extensive roster of famous people during their careers on the Philadelphia stage

My parents met a way more extensive roster of famous people during their careers on the Philadelphia stage
