↳ Song: "Monster" by "Fred Schneider"
Fred's solo work is often underrated. He's as good as he is in B-52's, for sure.

I think the only place to find toof is on Bandcamp / maybe on Spotify, but I don't use that. I recently talked to Trey - He hasn't recorded in years but is pleased to know his old tracks are being enjoyed toof.bandcamp.com

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:25pm
Austin Rich:

↳ Song: "Mister, Would You Please Help My Pony?" by "Ween"
True story: I had a roommate in the early 2000's, who would often bring home different people after a night out. One morning, a girl wandered down while I was making breakfast, and I was listening to Ween while I was cooking, and she says, "I love Ween. I use a lot of their songs when I'm stripping."

I never found out if it was true, but she was a hilarious breakfast guest.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:26pm

↳ Song: "Me Myself and I" by "De La Soul"
I (heart) De La Soul. Fantastic choice.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:26pm

I remember a hearing about a strip club in PDX that turned itself into a haunted strip club for Halloween
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:28pm
Austin Rich:

↳ Barno in Akron @8:27
That's what I was trying to figure out. I was afraid to question it, as she was hilarious and a very nice person. But... like... which songs?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:29pm
Austin Rich:

↳ Barno in Akron @8:28
There's a lot of weird strip clubs in PDX... an all-vegan donut shop strip joint. I think it's like some rule for the internet: if you can imagine it, PDX has it.

↳ Song: "Cousin Mosquito #1" by "Congress-Woman Malinda Ja...
"Cousin cousin cousin cousin cousin cousin cousin cousin cousin cousin..."

I'm fairly certain she really was a Congress Woman at the time she recorded that song, but may not be anymore. (And may not have been for very long.)

I only buy physical music, agnostic as to format, but for new stuff I get the Vinyl if available, you get the MP# with them anyway.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:49pm
Austin Rich:

↳ Barno in Akron @8:48
Exactly! I find Tom Waits albums for a buck at Goodwill... when I was shelling out $20 a pop for them on CD in the 90's...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:50pm

↳ Aitch @8:49
I lean toward records if I can, but if I see music in any format, I can't help but flip through.

I tossed a bunch of CDs years ago, including my Space Ghost CD, thinking I'd always be able to stream it - I was wrong. I can't find it digitally online, except for this track from a Dr Demento comp

One of the best record shopping days was finding the first Suicidal album, the second Nation of Ulysses album, and two Tom Waits albums, all in the cheap used bin, all in good shape. I even saw them from the street, and walked in to scoop them up.
