I saw it when I was 15 on Showtime at like 10 in the morning. The movie was a little over my head but the Yardbirds scene from the club blew my mind! I had some of their records but that was the first time ever seeing them in action! WOW!

Although this song wasn't released as a single in the US, they had 6 others break into the US Top 40 during 65-66: For Your Love; Heart Full of Soul; I'm a Man; Shapes of Things; Over Under Sideways Down; & Happenings Ten Years Time Ago.

Discotech Underground is actually two...two...two shows in one!

The first half is a "Happy Hour" of sorts (because it's five o'clock somewhere, right?), spinning the kinds of sounds you might have heard at a real, authentic 1960's DISCOTECH as cool cats and swingin' chicks danced the night away in their mod threads and mini skirts to hard-driving sounds under the flashing lights! The only thing missing are the cage dancers...but we're working on it!

The second half is for when you head home after a wild night, and ease in with the heady, trippy, mind-expanding sounds of a groovy free-form UNDERGROUND rock radio station that digs deep into their library and blows your mind all over again!

I am a big fan of Sandy Denny, with Fairport, Fotheringay and her "North Star Grassman" solo LP. "The Garden Of Jane Delawny" by Trees is another must-own, in my opinion, if UK folk is your thing.
