Richard Whig... when The Loons (minus 2) rehearsed at Randy Holden's house in preparation for the 50th Anniversary of the Sunset Strip Demonstrations show at Echoplex/Echo... man... they did "Mr. You're A Better Man Than I" three times. First time, they were great, just getting their bearings... in other words, it was like the record. Second time Randy was at his best, just tearing up the earth with all the gear and playing in his own house, really ripping. Third time, same but more more more to the point of almost self-indulgent but, Anja kept him in the groove so that was the off the hook version. Basically it was about a half hour of THAT
