Hey Mr. Fab! I just heard about Ronnie a couple of hours ago. I'm gutted! She was my fave of the '60's girls. I got to see her twice here in Austin. Both time were so magical!! The first time was on New Year's Eve 2014 and I got right up front at a small venue where she played outside. Her voice was still the same and her stories between songs were so great! Then I saw her when she did her Christmas special and showed old clips from her and the girls at old shows, interviews, etc.! It was another amazing show! I saw her at a very cool theater here in Austin. May she rest in peace!

Wow, now THAT is an inspired double bill. At least I have seen Wanda Jackson. For free, no less. At Amoeba Hollywood, so I could shop for records at the same time. She also told great stories. Her husband came up, bragging about how he was the one to marry Wanda: "I'm the guy that beat out Elvis!"

Haha, Mr. Fab! I've seen Wanda many times and I got her autograph after a show once. She signed a pic of herself when she was young she was selling at the show. Such a cool lady! I've seen her husband before, too. She's brought him on stage. I'm happy she's still with us! Her stories are fab, too!
