I used to be semi-fluent but with TERRIBLE pronunciation and mainly more of a French Canadian street level. I took French from kindergarten to grade 11, but retention isn't great. I can usually figure out ye-ye song lyrics, read basic music books etc. I can not understand my friends from France.
