Is this the Last Herd without Bob Seeger singing?
Avatar 4:33pm Rock'n'Soul Bunny:

Hi to Betsy O
  4:33pm Betsy O:

Being from a Detroit, I only know the version of East Side Story with Bob Seeger singing the lyrics with his band The Last Heard, ... so it’s a first in just hearing the instrumental version without any vocals.
  4:49pm Betsy O:

Thanks for the shout out, and now I see I had the song title confused, it was not Bob Seeger and the The Last Herd doing East Side Story, but a band named Last Herd doing East Side Sound, though the same song overall. But I did hear Richard and the Young Lions, another Michigan band that I saw as a young teenager. Anyway, thanks for the great show and taking me back to my roots! If I hear The Rationals or Mitch Ryder at all, then indeed I’ll lose my pink peddle pusher for sure!!!

  5:30pm Betsy O:

Thanks for playing a song for me Rock and Soul Bunny, heck, I’m old enough to remember the TV show “Where the Action Is” Us kids in the Motor City would watch it and see all the beautiful people on the beach with surfers and go go dancers abounding around bands, and then when the show was over we’d go outside into the factory smoke near and belching buses and ride our deconstructed roller skates nailed to boards and do the Boogaloo! I guess you work with what you have! Thanks again for rocking the roof once again!
Avatar 5:37pm MOM WHIG:

Hi Bunny, Gerry, Betsy, Brian C too. Seems like everyone is playing this Nancy Sinatra song lately. Sill love it though.
  5:39pm Betsy O:

Now you’re playing Lee Hazelwood and Nancy Sinatra, like you are reading my mind’s playlist, or a harmonic convergence of X’s and O’s meets the heart of an old soul. OK, I’ll leave you alone now.
