Really, Bunny? A short Coca Cola commercial instead of the legitimate hit song I requested? I am disappointed. You can certainly do better for your faithful listeners.
  2:57pm Gerry from Miami:

Wow! Another Coke commercial! Well, at least I got to hear one of my favorite 60s bands, the Box Tops, doing the ad spots.

Hi to the new folks: MOM WHIG, and Woo
  3:29pm Gerry from Miami:

Hey, MOM WHIG! If you read the posts above, you saw how Bunny disappointed once again. I am not really clear on what all these vintage Coca Cola commercials are doing on a non-commercial radio station. That was quite an elaborate and extensive ad campaign that Coke mounted back in the 60s. Long form radio ads with celebrity spokespeople.
Avatar 3:30pm MOM WHIG:

Gerry - they most likely had to do the coke ads in order to get their records played on air.
  3:30pm Gerry from Miami:

Hey Woo!
Avatar 3:30pm MOM WHIG:

Woo is in the house too :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:31pm Woo:

I'll keep it down BUNNY
Avatar 3:33pm Rock'n'Soul Bunny:

Indeed Gerry from Miami
  3:34pm Gerry from Miami:

Yes, I understand that. But that was over 50 years ago!! Now it's just an unpaid ad for a productvthat is still doing quite well. Can't speak for the Four Tops and their Duncan Hines cake mix ad that gets frequent play here as well.
  3:37pm Gerry from Miami:

And, MOM, let's not forget those Great Shakes ads. Pretty sure that product is no longer being made.
  3:40pm Gerry from Miami:

My favorite, actually, is the one Marvin Gaye did for a weekly entertainment insert that came with the Detroit Free Press. That spot is longer than any of his singles back then!
Avatar 3:40pm Rock'n'Soul Bunny:

Got your request Gerry from Miami
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:41pm Woo:

I'm guessing the ads are here as artifacts but they still function as ads. I am a little tired of them but I also think I would miss them if they were gone.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:43pm B R M:

hello from France, where it is 9:42 PM and I am listening from 6 hours in the future.
  3:44pm Gerry from Miami:

Kinda agree with you, Woo. Those ads were quite professionally produced. Still, though........
