Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:34pm Yvang:

Hi David and Subwayers!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:41pm fred:

9 euros is actually the price for most shows at Instants Chavirés near Paris
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:42pm David Dichelle:

Hey there David W and Yvang!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:44pm David Dichelle:

Fred: Concert prizes can really be all over the place, and often the less expensive ones are the greatest.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:45pm kuba:

fred - this concrete box looks intrigueing (sp?)
Avatar 3:45pm Brian in UK:

Hello David and PLEDGERS too numerous to mention.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:46pm David Dichelle:

Evening, Brian!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:48pm David Dichelle:

Oh and hello, Chresti!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:50pm fred:

@Kuba: Concrete box? Well, the images google returns first is a space for art exhibitions, not the concert space, which is much smaller. But one part of the concrete box hold the European inventory for Sublime Frequencies. Also, it's a former brewery
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:55pm Cmurtha:

Are german buses nice like Turkish buses? Or do they suck like American buses?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:56pm Stanley:

The Chicken Gang
Avatar 3:56pm Brian in UK:

My thoughts too.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:57pm kuba:

fred - gotcha! i'll keep that in mind whenever i get back to paris
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:59pm fred:

@kuba: It's actually in Montreuil, but the subway does go there
Avatar 3:59pm monkeyz:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:00pm kuba:

cmurtha - let's say there's a wide spectrum
Avatar 4:01pm Brian in UK:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:01pm David Dichelle:

Good evening, Monkeyz!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:01pm kuba:

Is this the Munslow talking Gallus gallus domesticus, making its owner rich beyond imagining on the telly bok shows, BiUK?

Anybody up for a trip to Leipzig? BY subway, in an ideal world.
Avatar 4:09pm Brian in UK:

If they were laying golden ones, this station would have the bulk of it.
Avatar 4:11pm Brian in UK:

What larks, Pip.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:12pm Carmichael:

Heya David and money-laden passengers. Just finished voting.
Avatar 4:12pm Brian in UK:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:13pm Stanley:

Wooooooooooooot!
What a super start to the 'thon.
And for my fellow coop dwellers, too
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:16pm Cmurtha:

Last year in Istanbul that one hour radically changed what shows I was awake to hear. Glad to be back in the sates, but I miss the "late night" shows which were my morning/afternoons.
Avatar 4:16pm Brian in UK:

You bet, Stanley. He was good live.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:17pm doctorjazz:

Hello Riders!
Avatar 4:19pm Sem:

Brian, I looked into "What larks, Pip." Having never been a Dickens guy---though I read the Pickwick Papers w/ something approaching glee---his other work evaded me. So, the story of Pip was a revealtion to me. Thanks for provoking that.
  4:20pm Tamar:

Oh my goodness, my friends live around the corner from Instants Chavirés. I'll have to ask them about it.

Hello David and Kuba and Continentals!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:21pm kuba:

next round of prizes! make sure to pledge to Continental Subway (your favorite subway) right over here → pledge.wfmu.org...
Avatar 4:21pm Brian in UK:

Sem, if you can see David Lean's Great Expectations, you will not be disappointed.
Stanley has a soft spot for the Aged P. Wemmicks old man.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:22pm kuba:

helloo tamar, doctorjazz, carmichael!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:23pm David Dichelle:

Hello DrJ, Carmichael, and next week's co-host, Tamar!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:24pm Stanley:

Yes, Brian but my favourite character in Great Expectations is Abel Magwitch. The David Lean film is excellent.
Avatar 4:24pm Brian in UK:

I think the trick for all these great stories is to get the characters' names right.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:24pm Cmurtha:

Does anyone know if you donate online on top of a swag for life, does it bill you instantly, or do they do the thing that happens when you call in? That - you will get a total amount at the end of the marathon from which you can pick swag/etc.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:27pm fred:

@Cmurtha: It looks like it bills you instantly, but you should get in touch with Joe McGasko to sort things out about swag
Avatar 4:27pm Brian in UK:

Remember reading Barnaby Rudge and thinking I will get a gold tooth pick from Aspreys and a frock coat. Failed on both counts.
Avatar 4:30pm Sem:

C: Not 'Knickerless Knickleby'? That's K-N-I-C-K-E-R-L-E-S-S.

P: (taciturn) No.

C: 'Khristmas Karol' with a K?

P: (really quite perturbed) No....

C: Er, how about 'A Sale of Two Titties'?

P: DEFINITELY NOT.

C: (moving towards door) Sorry to trouble you....

P: Not at all....

C: Good morning.

P: Good morning.

C: (turning around) Oh!

P: (deep breath) Yesss?

C: I wonder if you might have a copy of 'Rarnaby Budge'?

P: No, as I say, we're right out of Edmund Wells!

C: No, not Edmund Wells - Charles Dikkens.

P: (pause - eagerly) Charles Dickens??

C: Yes.

P: (excitedly) You mean 'Barnaby Rudge'!

C: No, 'Rarnaby Budge' by Charles Dikkens. That's Dikkens with two Ks, the well-known Dutch author.

P: (slight pause) No, well we don't have 'Rarnaby Budge' by Charles Dikkens with two Ks, the well-known Dutch author, and perhaps to save time I should add that we don't have 'Karnaby Fudge' by Darles Chickens, or 'Farmer of Sludge' by Marles Pickens, or even 'Stickwick Stapers' by Farles Wickens with four M's and a silent Q!!!!! Why don't you try W. H. Smith's?

C: Ah did, They sent me here.

P: DID they.
Avatar 4:31pm Brian in UK:

Ah hes, Marty Feldman in the bookshop.
Avatar 4:32pm Brian in UK:

Sad thing was he could not read.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:32pm fred:

@Tamar: I met Ken and Brian there when then recorded a show (Group Doueh). And former WFMU DJ Woody played there once (I was there, but I didn't know he was a DJ on the station at the time, even though I had listened to his show). Andy Ortmann played there too
Avatar 4:33pm northguineahills:

Hello David and Kuba! I still have my wfmu dice, you should have used those (although, they might loaded, if I remember correctly).
Avatar 4:34pm Brian in UK:

Hard G.
  4:34pm Tamar:

@Cmurtha, while I think the instant web response is to bill instantly, I'm pretty sure that it doesn't count unless you end up pledging over your annual Swag for Life amount. If you do go over your Swag amount, then you will get a bill after the marathon. Or yeah, check with Joe McGasko.
  4:35pm Tamar:

@fred: I'll have to check it out next time I visit.
Avatar 4:35pm Brian in UK:

Kuba you are cool.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:38pm Cmurtha:

I do not research chairs. The name though comes from the Ottomans I believe. They sat in very low coach like thrones/chairs and had little foot stools. There is also a fun Ottoman History podcast that talks about, why we call Turkeys (the bird) Turkeys.
Avatar 4:38pm northguineahills:

Reunion, slightly NE of Comoros, Mayotte, and the Seychelles.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:39pm kuba:

cmurtha! i feel dumb :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:39pm fred:

I'll probably not understand much
Avatar 4:39pm northguineahills:

@Cmurtha: I listen to the mentioned podcast....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:40pm kuba:

hey ngh, and thanks, brian! *blush*
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:41pm Cmurtha:

its a great podcast. I mention that particular small episode just because it's a similar process of associating "eastern" things with the Ottoman turks.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:41pm kuba:

i remember a weird connection of polish coffee brewing style, via austria, to turkish coffee, as it is known in some places
Avatar 4:41pm Brian in UK:

@Cmurtha, hope the dissertation is going well. Would like to have sat in at a banquet in the Topkapi.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:42pm kuba:

...and what's that podcast?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:42pm David Dichelle:

Hey NGH!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:44pm fred:

@kuba: Speaking of WFMU T-shirts, I have more than a hundred ones, a little more if you count duplicates
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:44pm redkayak:

Good afternoon/evening all. Punching in late I'm afraid!
Avatar 4:44pm βrian:

The fact that Turkey borders Greece seems quite humorous to certain children.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:45pm kuba:

hey redkayak, thanks for your pledge, icymi!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:45pm Cmurtha:

The Ottoman History Podcast Kuba. @Brian I have 3 chapters drafted of 5, been really distracted this last week but have been chipping away at 4 and hoping to start re-wroking one soon. I got to work at Topkapi which was very nice. Their library is in a very lovely former mosque that is not open to the public.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:46pm kuba:

@fred - do you have like a... wfmu cabinet? walk-in closet?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:46pm redkayak:

@kuba - A ha, thanks! Happy to chip in. It takes resources to make a subway run ;)
Avatar 4:46pm Brian in UK:

@redkayak, good news here the waters have receded but not completely gone.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:46pm David Dichelle:

Hey Redkayak - and thanks!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:47pm redkayak:

@David - Ahoy captain! Full speed ahead!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:47pm redkayak:

@Brian - GOOD news!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:47pm kuba:

@cmurtha, thx ~ wishing you - focus?
Avatar 4:48pm Brian in UK:

Cmurtha good luck my friend. you can do it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:48pm redkayak:

@Brian - Hoping not too much impact to you & yours?
Avatar 4:49pm Brian in UK:

We were lucky. Got in some good chainsaw and shredding action today.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:50pm dutchtheo:

Hi David, & reunionists
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:51pm redkayak:

@Brian - On another note I have stumbled into a twitter drama centered around British eel consumption! Check this out:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:53pm redkayak:

They sound nasty - are they?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:54pm redkayak:

I want to pay my mortgage in eels now :D
  4:55pm melinda:

Drunk calling an SUW rerun, haha!
Avatar 4:55pm Brian in UK:

The sad thing about elvers (young eels) are all exported from around the Severn Estuary near Gloucester to places like Spain. Also there is blackmarket.
Eels are good to eat but get a fishmonger to skin them.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:55pm Mark Hurst:

Hi David, hi all!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:57pm redkayak:

@Brian - I'll be. I'll have to put these on my culinary bucket list. In 2019 I had boiled peanuts, so anything is possible!
Avatar 4:57pm Brian in UK:

I bought some Ling last week. They are part of the Cod family but look like an eel. going to make Ling Burgers of them.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:57pm kuba:

you look away from the comments for 5 minutes and suddenly the topic is YOUNG EELS. i love it
Avatar 4:58pm northguineahills:

That's why Chinese programmers have that down pat, a country that should be at least 5 time zones, is one. Since it's based on eastern China, it wakes the diurnal schedule in western China a bit unwieldy.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:58pm redkayak:

@Brian - I'm speechless. Mock-eel burgers you say?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:59pm David Dichelle:

Hey Mark and Dutchtheo!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:59pm Webhamster Henry:

I've done timezone work. The worst is that timezones are completely at the whim of whatever legislature is setting the dates. So, Australia moved the dates for their Olympics, for a long time part of Indiana refused to be in the same zone as the rest of the state, and so it LOOKS mathematical , but is in fact as capricious as whatever lobbyist is pushing for an extra week of barbecues.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:59pm kuba:

@melinda. yup. later best show (also drunk), and 7sd (sober)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:59pm kuba:

@webhamster - i feel you! i actually *did* make calendar-like software
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:00pm redkayak:

@kuba - we put the "continental" in the subway, my friend :)
Avatar 5:00pm northguineahills:

Indiana is still a nightmare when it comes to DST. (still county-based).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:00pm kuba:

...one eel at a time
Avatar 5:01pm Brian in UK:

redkayak, no it is cod-like that is eel shaped. Not need to skin them.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:01pm Webhamster Henry:

That's also why India is on one zone, offset 30 minutes so it's not too disturbing. The south Pole, which encompasses all zones, generally runs on New Zealand time, if their supplies are coming from there.
Avatar 5:01pm Martinibomb:

merry fund-raiser David!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:02pm Carmichael:

So you could sneak across the border after happy hour and drink cheap for another hour ...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:02pm David Dichelle:

Thanks, Martinibomb, a very merry one to you as well!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:03pm redkayak:

@Brian - Hmm. Okay! If you say they're good, I trust you....
Avatar 5:04pm Brian in UK:

Time is a human invention so it is flexible and bends round corners.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:05pm kuba:

first time i was aware of timezones AND got my first wrist watch i was giddy to set it back a couple minutes when we traveled from germany to poland... sigh
Avatar 5:06pm Brian in UK:

Who would guess this is Zambian.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:07pm redkayak:

I have two dogs staring at me who know it's dinner time right now. Amazing. Actually I'm 7 minutes late :)
Avatar 5:09pm Brian in UK:

redkayak, we have a beagle that is never satisfied
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:11pm fred:

I work in part for a EU research project where the project leader is slowly grasping the concept of time zones, but still getting it wrong. It makes conference calls an adventure, as he sends inconsistent schedules. Being the only "mere technician" I basically have to set aside a three-hours slot and wait for his call. Bosses (everyone else) just show up when/if they want
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:14pm Mark Hurst:

Aww shucks
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:15pm Cmurtha:

I did not hear your translation or pronunciation. But the song would be literally "Is this Justice/Equity's world?" Better translated as "Is this a world of justice?" Unless that genetive is attached to something else in the song.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:16pm Cmurtha:

I shall return later!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:17pm redkayak:

@Brian - Beagles are awesome. When they bark it raises the dead, lol....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:19pm fred:

@redkayak: Every day might me Saturday to a dog, but there's no fooling them about dinner time
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:20pm redkayak:

@fred - Indeed so. It's uncanny.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:20pm kuba:

hi techo-o-tonic mark!
Avatar 5:22pm Brian in UK:

Our vet said that a beagles nose is one thousand times more 'powerful' than ours. Cannot comprehend that, it would drive you nuts.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:22pm kuba:

aaand once more, let me refresh your pledge-memory: donate to continental subway, right over here: pledge.wfmu.org... with $20 or more to be eligible to win the LP playing right now! and now let's get refreshments.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:23pm kuba:

@brian 'powerful' sound so... mechanical.
Avatar 5:24pm Martinibomb:

@fred no one asked for a lesson in euclidean geometry just tell me what time it is on earth.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:24pm Stanley:

Good night all.
I'll be back tomorrow.
Avatar 5:26pm Brian in UK:

Our beagle, Spencer has four or five different barks, you know someone at the door, I am hungry etc. The oddest was when he found a hedgehog for the first time in the garden at night. It was a bark of complete incomprehension.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:26pm David Dichelle:

Good night, Stanley, thanks again!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:26pm redkayak:

@brian - hahaha
Avatar 5:27pm Brian in UK:

Bye Stanley.
Avatar 5:28pm Brian in UK:

David, this is relentless.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:29pm redkayak:

Okay friends, I need to de-train here.
Have a good one!
Avatar 5:31pm northguineahills:

@Brian in the UK: My brother just put down his 16 year-old beagle last week. It only have 3 barks. Food!, Let me inside! Where the eff is my master!.
Avatar 5:33pm Brian in UK:

@ngh sorry to hear that. The sad thing is that some people hang onto their pets without considering the animal.
Avatar 5:33pm northguineahills:

I just went for a jaunt to the store and saw someone on the sidewalk w/ a WFMU shirt, and didn't know them. If I wasn't driving in rush hour traffic, I would have said hello! (also wearing an WFMU shirt, seeing as they are about 50% of my tee-shirts).
Avatar 5:35pm northguineahills:

@Brian in UK: Yeah. she should have been put down 3 months ago, but my brother was just about to move, so, I guess he wanted to make all of the changes in his life all at once.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:38pm fred:

My best WFMU T-shirt story was being stopped in the street by guys that turned out to be Mission Of Burma. Most people who talk to me about my WFMU T-shirts are in bands I came to see
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:40pm kuba:

@fred lol
  5:40pm melinda:

I like this Altin Gun.
Avatar 5:41pm northguineahills:

that's awesome, fred. I've turned random people onto WFMU via them asking about my shirts, mostly cashiers and one security guard (also my new housemate, as I always have it on in the car).
Avatar 5:42pm Brian in UK:

Time to get horizontal. Thanks David and kuba.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:42pm David Dichelle:

Thanks again Brian, have a good night!
Avatar 5:43pm northguineahills:

@Brian: phrasing!

nacht!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:43pm kuba:

you got it, brian, good zzzs
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:44pm kuba:

get in the running to win this great Altın Gün, fork over $20+ at pledge.wfmu.org...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:45pm fred:

@ngh: I have occasional conversations (depending on how many people are in line) with a cashier at my local supermarket because of a Dengue Fever T-shirt. She's Cambodian and has already taught me a lot. Too bad it's so random
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:46pm Asheville Jon:

reeeeaaaalllllyyyyy enjoying the Altin Gun set!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:48pm David Dichelle:

Hey Jon - we are too!
Avatar 5:51pm Sem:

My stop. Love this show.
Good night, David, kuba, and all still aboard.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:53pm fred:

You should ask Bas for pronunciation tips
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:54pm Michael 98145:

Yay, @Bas
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:55pm Doug Schulkind:

David, the love with which you present your show is palpable. It is a rarified pleasure. Thank you!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:56pm Doug Schulkind:

Welcome back to the Drummer Stream, kuba!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:56pm Bas NL:

He, he.. Not on the Turkish titles fore sure! :|
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:58pm fred:

@Bas: Cmurtha has that covered, but you could help with the band members' names
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:58pm Bas NL:

Yeay!! Already loved the tracks you played!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:58pm Doug Schulkind:

So happy to see you, Bas!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:59pm Bas NL:

Hi Doug!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:00pm doctorjazz:

Thanks! (Yes, Jack was me)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:01pm Doug Schulkind:

@doctorjazz
You are cleaning up so far this marathon. Go go go go, doctorjazz!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:03pm kuba:

hey doug! glad to be back! congrats, doctor. maybe next year i'll have the names down :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:03pm David Dichelle:

Hey there Doug!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:05pm David Dichelle:

Yes, congrats Bas and DrJazz!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:05pm David Dichelle:

And hello Michael!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:06pm Bas NL:

@fred: Ha, yes. Jasper Verhulst sounded spot on; the 'u' is real short (seagull). Gino Groeneveld.. Italian way Gino (i guess) and Groeneveld has the 'oe' that sounds like 'ou' in 'you'.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:06pm fred:

@Kuba: How am I supposed to know the kind of scorpion you're familiar with? Your living in Germany might be a hint, but Scorpion Violente are from Eastern France, and there's also DJ Female Convict Scorpion (I guess these two share a reference)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:06pm chresti:

These are high quality prizes you got here!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:07pm David Dichelle:

Thanks, Chresti, and thanks to Olivia at WFMU for making it all come together!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:08pm kuba:

@fred - it's the window of change, klaus meine variety of scorpions :|
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:08pm kuba:

i *wish* it was DJ Female Convict Scorpion
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:08pm kuba:

"window of change".. geez, WIND of change
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:09pm David Dichelle:

Doug: Just saw your earlier comment and blushed.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:10pm David Dichelle:

And good night, Sem, if you're still there - falling way behind on comments today.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:11pm Doug Schulkind:

My wife adores your show, David. And she has exquisite taste.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:11pm chresti:

Alas, I have to sit out this weeks round of prizes, still waiting for my tax refund.
Avatar 6:12pm northguineahills:

(not to be confused by the German band, the Scorpions).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:12pm doctorjazz:

(It won't make my wife very happy..."More Records! We have too much STUFF!"
nothing new,though, much obliged!)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:13pm Michael 98145:

edible bagels are almost impossible to find in this part of the left coast
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:15pm fred:

@Bas: It's the "ij" that had been puzzling me for years, but listener Jeroen finally told me how it should be said (my favorite dancer's name includes it)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:15pm Michael 98145:

geometry class
Avatar 6:15pm northguineahills:

I finally found a decent bagel in FL at my housemate's Jewish deli. The scheisse that usually passes for bagels in FL in abysmal.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:18pm kuba:

i haven't found a reliable place in my fancy-ish neighborhood in berlin, yet. what's the point of all this gentrification if not good bagels!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:19pm Bas NL:

@fred; The 'ij' is indeed really quirky! Dutch also has 'ei'; like in German. It has a similar sound, but a bit shorter..
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:20pm kuba:

like ijsselmeer, right?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:21pm David Dichelle:

Doug (above), please tell her I appreciate it, thanks!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:24pm Bas NL:

Very much like Ijsselmeer kuba!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:28pm Doug Schulkind:

Will do, David.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:30pm chresti:

Pacific Standard Time zone, here!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:33pm Bas NL:

@chresti: PST is EST minus .. three hours?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:33pm Michael 98145:

ooh! Laserdisc premium!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:34pm fred:

@Bas: "Loemij" didn't turn out to sound like I had thought it would
Avatar 6:36pm northguineahills:

*mind blown*
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:38pm Bas NL:

@fred: I guess it's a family name? Always difficult; can have regional variations. Or old/new pronunciation issues.
Avatar 6:42pm northguineahills:

UTC here, checking out. Thanks a bajillion David and Kuba! Keep up the banter!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:44pm kuba:

ngh, thanks & will do
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:44pm David Dichelle:

Thanks, NGH, we'll do our best.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:46pm fred:

@Bas: Yeah, my favorite dancer is Cynthia Loemij. I had been bugged for years by not even knowing how not to butcher her name. She's from Brielle
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:50pm Bas NL:

@fred: And now performing more on your end, in Paris, isn't she? She moved up in the world! ;)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:52pm chresti:

Thanks David and Kuba!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:53pm Bas NL:

Really looking forward to the marathon Premium!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:53pm doctorjazz:

Thanks, David, commute time for us both!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:53pm chresti:

Bas-yes 3 hours earlier, it's 3:53 pm
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:55pm fred:

She's based in Brussels, and doesn't come here much these days (well she did last year, but with tickets reaching 3 figures, I passed)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:56pm chresti:

Tamar plays a lot of world music
Avatar 6:56pm βrian:

Yes, I sometimes even have problems with two figures when it comes to tickets.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:57pm fred:

Someone give kuba a show!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:57pm Bas NL:

@fred: Talent pays obviously!
Swag For Life Member 6:58pm Tim in TN:

Thank you gentlemen!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:58pm Bas NL:

Wow!! *Happy dance*
Avatar 6:58pm βrian:

Hear you next week, David.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:58pm fred:

@Bas: The venue got most of it, I don't think she got more than usual
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:59pm Bas NL:

Thanks David & kuba!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:59pm kuba:

aww fred, thanks! (i have one, here on radio blau :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:59pm David Dichelle:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:00pm fred:
