Evidence was the label. Venus is (also?) a label out of Japan. I have a handful of Ken Peplowski LPs on that Venus. Amazing sound quality.

Apparently, those Evidence reissues of the Sun Ra records are sonically for shit. The newly remastered releases are pristine (as pristine as possible) and gorgeous.

Yeah, Peplowski is a prolific dude. Some of his more recent releases are on smaller labels, but they're quite good. The Venus stuff is just so well engineered and mastered.
