Good Midnight to You...
Avatar 2:02pm Mr Fab:

BC, please tell Herk that was brilliant, and we need to make a movie of that story. We already have the soundtrack!
Avatar 2:04pm Herk Hilligoss:

Thanks Fab :)
Avatar 2:06pm solo mon:

This is the creepiest song I’ve heard all day.
Avatar 2:08pm Sem:

Boo!, BCS, and greets, ghouls-to-be.
Avatar 2:09pm Herk Hilligoss:

Sorry I wasn't prepared with liner notes for this show. Just enjoy the music :)
Avatar 2:09pm Herk Hilligoss:

Hi Sem! Solo! Fab! Jan! and Martini!!!
Avatar 2:16pm Herk Hilligoss:

My cat keeps trying to walk on my keyboard. So needy
Avatar 2:19pm Mr Fab:

Marlin Wallace! I was corresponding with him thru his assistant during the days of my old blog. Very prolific, they sent me a couple CDs.
Avatar 2:28pm Mr Fab:

he predicted the influence of Putin!
Avatar 2:33pm Martinibomb:

come on 34 you know the score
Avatar 2:33pm Herk Hilligoss:

I know there are a lot of Wallace CDs that were never released on Vinyl!
Avatar 2:33pm Herk Hilligoss:

Took me almost 2 decades to find this 45
  2:36pm someone:

I feel like this should have been the A side. More interesting with the harmonies
Avatar 2:36pm Herk Hilligoss:

Just another version of the same song... huh
Avatar 2:43pm Mr Fab:

i so want to know more about Nona Rae. I'm imagining her in a big blonde bouffant and leopard print dress. (But then again, i imagine that most of the time anyway)
Avatar 2:50pm Herk Hilligoss:

Should have taken a photo of my Robbie LP I love how beat up the cover is.
Avatar 2:56pm Mr Fab:

Probably rather pricey (in good condition)? I just have the mp3s of this album from WFMU's Beware of the Blog.
Avatar 3:04pm Herk Hilligoss:

Yeah, I got lucky many years ago. Under $100. Vinyl is in nice shape.
Avatar 3:05pm Martinibomb:

I want this guy's job
Avatar 3:07pm Mr Fab:

he went from werewolf to Robin Hood.
Avatar 3:18pm Leland Meadows:

Guerssen's Out-Sider label (that also reissued Arcesia a few years back) has a nice reissue of Robbie, no need for an original at seller's prices if you want it on vinyl.
Avatar 3:20pm Leland Meadows:

Here is that Robbie link if anyone wants to download from FMU's BOTB - blog.wfmu.org...
Avatar 3:20pm Franco Twinkie:

Skip Spence, Clear Light AND The Cramps!?! Oh man, did I mis-calculate this morning!
Avatar 3:21pm Martinibomb:

now I wanna start a robbie tribute band
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:23pm chresti:

Tasty kids. Hi Chresti, Martini, Franco and Leland!
Avatar 3:24pm Leland "Mummy" Meadows:

Hello Franco Chresti
Avatar 3:25pm Mr Fab:

that link to the Blog has my comment. From 12 years ago, (gulp)
Avatar 3:25pm Don-O:

I'm expecting to hear 'Finger Liclin' Good' to pop up on this track.
Avatar 3:25pm Herk Hilligoss:

I'll be playing Halloween records all Night here in Sheena's this Saturday after Wired Up. (Well till at least Midnight anyway...Unless I pass out.)
Avatar 3:25pm Leland "Mummy" Meadows:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:27pm EldRiTch in Washington:

They ain't making blood banshees like they used to!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:27pm EldRiTch in Washington:

I just ten minutes ago pulled this very record out of my bin.
Avatar 3:31pm Leland "Mummy" Meadows:

Super Dummy is most welcome a second-time around. I wonder what Halloween cuts are the most played on WFMU. Maybe Witches Brew or Riboflavin'... Monster Mash by Bobby or Bonzos? Would be fun to have a top 20 countdown of the most played Halloween Hits on FMU. My fav holiday of the year.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:31pm EldRiTch in Washington:

You're right. This is very Judson-esque.
Was fun hearing that '95 performance by Judson and crew on The Old Codger yesterday afternoon.
Avatar 3:32pm Leland "Mummy" Meadows:

That Judson WFMU appearance is legendary.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:33pm EldRiTch in Washington:

yeah. Would be fun to see our Halloween billboard 100. I've long stopped worrying that I'll be playing something that's already been played for Halloween. It's a holiday, ferchrissake!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:33pm Mx. Granny (e/em):

greetings, BC and groovy ghoulies!
Avatar 3:33pm Martinibomb:

hello Mx. Gran!
Avatar 3:33pm StringOFperils:

As long as there's never any Smashing Pumpkins.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:34pm EldRiTch in Washington:

I recently saw that brief Judson appearance on Stairway To Stardom. It's amazing.
Avatar 3:34pm Mr Fab:

Wow, Herk will be playing Halloween records all night tomorrow, that is fang-tastic!!
Avatar 3:35pm StringOFperils:

Oh cool, Fab!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:35pm EldRiTch in Washington:

My pal and I Dr. Zomb used to do joint Halloween shows and our main rule was no Monster Mash.
Avatar 3:37pm Herk Hilligoss:

And no Purple People Eater!
Avatar 3:37pm Herk Hilligoss:

Hi Granny and String of Pearls!
Avatar 3:38pm StringOFperils:

Goo-Goo Muck has that covered.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:38pm EldRiTch in Washington:

Yeah. Pretty much all those goofy, kid-safe Halloween staples.
Avatar 3:38pm Herk Hilligoss:

Avatar 3:38pm Herk Hilligoss:

No Martian Hop!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:39pm EldRiTch in Washington:

I'm excited about the long Herk Halloween marathon tomorrow night! I'm having the grandson over and we're gonna carve pumpkins.
Avatar 3:40pm Herk Hilligoss:

I did find an awesome Private Press Monster mash recorded by a group of women from Bountiful Utah. The only good version in my opinion.
Avatar 3:40pm Herk Hilligoss:

Yay! I need to carve a pumpkin. I've been too busy working out of town.
Avatar 3:40pm Mr Fab:

I still love Martian Hop, ha ha.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:41pm chresti:

Hello Leland Mummy Meadows!
Avatar 3:42pm Leland "Mummy" Meadows:
