A viking ship appears on the horizon, a likeness of Alice Coltrane carved into its bow. Rare birds flock together to sing Francoise Hardy as soul hits. A sunset of blips and bleeps fills the air.

Looking forward to your show.

(I don't like M. Bloomberg nor his publication. I only post for its graphic simplicity.)
LOVE this set @yeti bob, and i would never have predicted that based on the words 'new age'
I think I kicked in 3 original never before heard Happy Birthdays
Shower me with praise and affection
It was a great day of radio and community. WFMU is a gift, and I really felt it yesterday. I didn't leave the apartment and was never even close to being alone. Thanks, friend!

Listening until the moment of transformation to "professor" shows up. Ten weeks left in this semester of hell, except for my Journalism class. Then we talk about communication and yes, WFMU, among other radio stations including the obligatory NPR and the still struggling Pacifica Foundation. Not all that bad company.
That’s our new adventure

For instance, I recently created my account and it shows my voting record back to 2011 when I washed up on the other side of the Hudson. BUT most importantly, it tracks the two prior times I voted by mail-in ballot in 2020--the May municipal election and the July Presidential primary election. In both instances, the site lists the dates my ballot was requested, issued, and received as well as the status. For the past votes, my ballot status was listed as "Accepted," i.e., not rejected for a real or perceived disqualification (improperly sealed, signed, etc.).
Hi Trouble, and listeners
Friends, we are just about out of here, heading away for the weekend. Great packing music, Trouble! So very, very appreciated, week after week.
Be well, friends!
Yes, tim, I have read a couple of Beukes books!
Bye, everyone!
As for more parties: We need ranked-choice voting first! Fortunately we'll have it soon in NYC for local elections. Unfortunately, it'll *only* be for local elections.
My daughter tends to have a power of coercion over me . . So . . She might hold a unicorn to my head and make me write-in "Spanky". I'm trying to hide from her until the election is through.
The duopoly thrives on prescriptive and consensual need. It is a charade because they need each other to exist.
@Trouble: Thank you!
