The not-so good news is that Double Dip Recess is not on new WFMU schedule, so this is our last show.

Amanda is still far from recovered. I miss her but I know she’s happy that Double Dip Recess is still going strong, even if she cannot join in the fun for now.

The REALLY good news is: I am going to keep doing DOUBLE DIP RECESS in Saturday mornings from 9-11 on WFMU’s stream, Sheena’s Jungle Room, so your weekends will be the same, you just have to click on a different button on the Website or App to hear the show! I’m real sad knowing this is your last show in the WoofMoo.Im a grown 53 year old kid when your show is on. I’ve passed the information for the show onto so many of my friends and customers with kids and to my friends with a great sense of nostalgia and humor. Hopefully you will be back. Something tells me you were made a good offer though. There is no show like DDR . Good luck and best to both of you.

guys, Amanda is still very sick. it takes a lot of effort to put a show out like this every week, and on top of that a lot of this is run by volunteers. they change the schedule three or four times a year. this go around maybe wasn't lining up with their schedule, and their personal life. understand there are humans behind all of this music and that they do it for fun, for you. unfortunately these days everyone needs to prioritize and that leads to some tough calls.

For computer-using listeners, I would imagine you can just go to the DDR playlist page to get to the Sheena shows, just like you can to listen to the main-stream shows over the interwebs.

Then just click on the popup player or MP3 source.

That's the route I use to jump into the listening and playlists for shows on other streams.
