I hadn't seen it before and was really taken with it. I'm an art director at a magazine about American Buddhism, and I ended up using it to illustrate an article on racial karma in the upcoming issue. So perfect, thank you for the education!

Then our daughter in law (also a teacher...5 days a week in person) had to hire a baby sitter because the 4 yr old is in school only 3 days a week. And then there's my wife, who is starting up an online math tutoring business because she resigned as they gave her no remote option.

	♥ 9:21am WoodsOfNH: @deborah It's a very small school that serves kids with all sorts of issues (trouble at home, developmental issues, etc.) The rooms are tiny. And she's 65. It was an emotional decision but ultimately the right one.
	9:22am The Butterman: Yup, we start Tuesday with 4 days of professional development. I’m doing my remote art teaching from my classroom. I may just go full Bob Ross mode. The first days will be the hardest days. Then it will fall into place.

	♥ 9:28am βrian: Our little one is going to an in-person school camp which is a kind of wrapper for the all-remote district school. They're coordinated and there are certified teachers to steward the kids. A bit like a pod, but larger.
	♥ 9:30am Trouble: i am the only art faculty at a small private school, so that hardest part has been the lack of peers to bounce around digital ideas. i finally bought a wacom tablet so i can draw atop a jpg of their drawings. teaching drawing has been the hardest for me to figure out in distance learning.

In the 1980s in the lab where I was doing my Ph.D. I'd play WFMU, my prof (in charge) after a while would yell, "Turn that shit off!" When I moved in here it was with Listener Steve, but he died.

	♥ 10:58am YETI BOB: @MikeW: I remember this album. Haven't heard it in forever, since 1980-something. Really fun to be reminded of this. It's like Jah Wobble hadn't found his own sound yet - I mean the later Invaders of the Heart stuff which was pretty serious and intense. This feels way more goofy (not in a bad way). A lot of people were critical of the vocals on this and on later Wobble records he doesn't sing. I never heard that these songs were destined for a PiL album - it's a bit hard for me to believe, they feel pretty tossed-off and I can't really imagine Lydon singing any of this.

I hadn't seen it before and was really taken with it. I'm an art director at a magazine about American Buddhism, and I ended up using it to illustrate an article on racial karma in the upcoming issue. So perfect, thank you for the education!

	♥ 9:21am WoodsOfNH: @deborah It's a very small school that serves kids with all sorts of issues (trouble at home, developmental issues, etc.) The rooms are tiny. And she's 65. It was an emotional decision but ultimately the right one.

	♥ 9:28am βrian: Our little one is going to an in-person school camp which is a kind of wrapper for the all-remote district school. They're coordinated and there are certified teachers to steward the kids. A bit like a pod, but larger.
	♥ 9:30am Trouble: i am the only art faculty at a small private school, so that hardest part has been the lack of peers to bounce around digital ideas. i finally bought a wacom tablet so i can draw atop a jpg of their drawings. teaching drawing has been the hardest for me to figure out in distance learning.

	♥ 10:58am YETI BOB: @MikeW: I remember this album. Haven't heard it in forever, since 1980-something. Really fun to be reminded of this. It's like Jah Wobble hadn't found his own sound yet - I mean the later Invaders of the Heart stuff which was pretty serious and intense. This feels way more goofy (not in a bad way). A lot of people were critical of the vocals on this and on later Wobble records he doesn't sing. I never heard that these songs were destined for a PiL album - it's a bit hard for me to believe, they feel pretty tossed-off and I can't really imagine Lydon singing any of this.
